# South Africa’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Qualification Group D Fixtures South Africa have been drawn into Group D for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, alongside Guinea, Kenya and Eritrea. Bafana Bafana face a demanding campaign, with Kenya already guaranteed a place at the finals as one of the three co-hosts. As a result, only the highest-ranked team other than Kenya will qualify from Group D. The qualification campaign consists of six matchdays, with South Africa beginning at home before travelling for their second fixture. **Matchday 1** **South Africa vs Guinea** 26 September 2026 **Matchday 2** **Eritrea vs South Africa** 30 September 2026 **Matchday 3** **South Africa vs Kenya** 11 November 2026 **Matchday 4** **Kenya vs South Africa** 15 November 2026 **Matchday 5** **Guinea vs South Africa** 24 March 2027 **Matchday 6** **South Africa vs Eritrea** 28 March 2027 The opening two rounds have already given Bafana an excellent start. South Africa defeated Guinea 2-1 before producing an emphatic 5-0 victory over Eritrea, leaving them with six points from their first two matches. With only one qualification place available to the teams competing alongside automatic qualifiers Kenya, every remaining match will carry significant importance. South Africa will therefore need to maintain their strong start when the qualifying campaign resumes in November.
